Marathoner, club runner, and steady-mile collector. This site is a quiet record of miles logged and races run — recent efforts, results that mattered, and the crews that make it worthwhile.

Running started as a way to think and has stayed that way. The miles aren't only about the finish time — though I care about the finish time — they're about the mornings when nothing is forcing you out the door and you go anyway. It started with Coach "Lightning" Larry ⚡ and the Sparks, and somewhere along the way became a running family I count as a real one.
Five years in, I'm less interested in calling myself a runner than in practicing the work itself — showing up, moving forward, being part of the communities that make it matter. We live by two simple rules: always finish the run, and never leave anyone behind. Somewhere along the way, those stopped being just running rules. Running teaches you things like that, if you let it. It's about the people you meet and the ones you carry with you. They shape what the miles are really about. The joy is in doing the work, in the quiet accumulation of days, not just in any single race or result.
My goal in running — I don't really have one. Something better than last year. A start line that scares me a little. More miles with the people who make them matter. Legs that remember the work when my head forgets. This site is just a ledger — the shape of it, held in one place.
